I am a Tulane University graduate currently located in the Los Angeles Area. I graduated in 2014 with a B.A. in Website Development and a minor in Marketing.
Web and graphic design started as a childhood hobby in middle school around 2003, but tech in general has always been an interest of mine. I was a writer and layout editor of an award-winning school newspaper, as well as head web developer in the AOIT tech academy my senior year.
During my initial years at Tulane, I studied a range of subjects outside of Web Development. I later discovered the opportunity to pursue web development as a degree and decided it was what I wanted for a career.
In my final year of school, I interned for Susco Solutions, a New Orleans based software company as a graphic design and marketing intern. I also interned with Dustland, a digital agency in Los Angeles and was eventually offered a position as a full time frontend developer. Recently, Dustland became a part of Verndale, a digital experience company based in Boston.
