Sean Wang currently serves as the Principal Product Quality Leader at Amgen, where he leverages his extensive expertise in the analytical development of protein therapeutics to drive quality initiatives across a diverse portfolio of clinical and pre-commercial products. With a proven track record of engaging in the development of over 14 protein therapeutics, Sean plays a pivotal role in ensuring that these biologics meet stringent regulatory standards and quality expectations. His responsibilities encompass attribute identification, characterization, and the establishment of robust control strategies that are essential for maintaining product integrity throughout the development lifecycle.

In his role, Sean collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Quality Leaders, International Quality, Quality Control, and Regulatory Affairs, to address complex challenges related to product manufacturing and in-process controls. His deep understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and analytical methodologies, particularly in mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS), enables him to provide critical insights that enhance product quality and compliance.
