Scott Poretsky

Scott Poretsky serves as the Director of Security for Ericsson North America, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the security landscape for 5G networks. With a focus on critical infrastructure, Scott leads initiatives that encompass secure 5G cloud deployments, Open RAN security, and the implementation of Zero Trust Architectures. His expertise is particularly vital as the telecommunications industry navigates the complexities of modern network security, ensuring that both service providers and end-users can operate in a secure environment.

In his capacity as Co-Chair of the O-RAN ALLIANCE Working Group 11, Scott is at the forefront of developing standards and best practices that enhance the security of Open RAN architectures.
