Sara Marie's educational background and work readiness stem from her B.A. in Integrated Public Relations and Communications from Central Michigan University. While at Central Michigan, Sara Marie was a central figure in creating the school's public Affairs and Communication program, which honors public servant traditions. Her experience in public relations and communications has served her well as a communications professional in the corporate world, where she has worked as a Director of Marketing, Director of planning and strategy, and a Manager of Communications and Corporate Affairs for multiple companies. Sara Marie is currently a Manager of Communications for a nonprofit organization in Michigan. The nonprofit is dedicated to helping low-income residents hit the homeschooling milestone. Sara Marie is also voluntarily committed to working with the nonprofit organization for 2 years after she receives her master's degree in communications.
