Since Sandra Gras's undergraduate college days, her experience has been exploring ways to help others, whether that be through her work as a social enterprise educator and animal campaigner, or currently as an adjunct lecturer in British and Islamic Studies. In her undergraduate years, Gras studied Political Science, but decided after taking a step back to figure out what she wanted to do with her life. From that point on, she hastogglered back and forth between political science and English, but always found a great deal of meaning and value in the two subjects. Her concentration at San Jose State UNIVERSITY was in coursework that specializationized her in British and Islamic Studies. While doing my coursework, I was able to gain a deep understanding of thesetwo important cultures and the different ways in which they have interacted with each other. This coursework has solidified my belief that I have a deep understanding of both worlds and the ability to contribution to a larger conversation. Gras is currently an adjunct lecturer in British and Islamic Studies at San Jose State UNIVERSITY.
