💼 Past Experience

I have been a Manager and Paint Department Manager at Wehrung's Lumber & Home Center. From June 1981 to March 2017 I was a Manager at Shelly Enterprises, a Division of US LBM Holdings, LLC. I am currently a Assistant Store Manager & Paint Department Manager at Wehrung's Lumber & Home Center.I was born in the town of Centerburg, Pennsylvania on October 3, 1948. I also have two brothers, and I have been married to my wife, Valerie for 61 years. We are proud parents of two children and four grandchildren.I grew up in a construction family and until I was about 24 years old, I worked as a constructor. I then went on to work at the shops of Pennsylvania Manufacturing. Afore those shops, I was with the construction company of General Dynamics, which was in the Manufacturing business, doing construction work all over the world.While I was working at General Dynamics, I started my own company and I built a successful business. I reinvested my profits in the company and it grew into a corporation. I then got a job with US LBM Holdings which is now the owner of Shelly Enterprises.I have worked in the lumber and home building industries for over 60 years. I am part of a generation of builders who have built homes, businesses and hospitals all over the country. I have seen the frustration and the success that people have had with building materials and I have learned a lot about how to manage factories and carry out construction projects.

🎓 Education

Rick Shelly, who currently resides in the rustbelt of Pennsylvania, has had a long, varied and successful educational journey. After having spent some time at Pennridge High School, Shelly went on to attend the college of On Hands Learning. There, Shelly received her associates degree in Management Information Systems and her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.Since Shelly's return to the Keystone State in 2006, he has worked as a teacher and administrator with the goal of providing his students with sound educational practices and opportunities. Rick has an extensive background of working with students of all ages and levels of ability, having supervised various types of learning programs in his previous roles. Rick continues to receive a great amount of admiration and respect from his colleagues and students alike for his many years of dedicated work.

Rick Shelly has over 15 years of experience management and engineer in the industry of building materials. Rick has held management and engineering positions at various companies in the building materials industry. during his managerial experience at Ourhrung's Lumber & Home Center in Fort Worth, TX from 1981 until March 2017. In that time, Rick implementedonian planning and management techniques to effect change and improve the work at the store. Rick also engaged in customer service and developed close relationships with the customers. These relationships helped continue to improve the work conditions, morale, and customer service at the store.
