Ray Gross is a dedicated and passionate educator with nearly two decades of experience in the K-12 education sector. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Assistance to the Texas Education Agency (TEA) at Educational Testing Service (ETS), Ray plays a pivotal role in the development and operational execution of the Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) and Interim Assessment programs. His extensive background as a classroom teacher, campus administrator, research analyst, and program manager uniquely positions him to bridge the gap between educational theory and practical application.

In his current role, Ray is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of innovative software applications and IT solutions that align with TEA’s strategic plan and adapt to changes in state and federal statutes.
