Lead architect for a high-end landed residential development (22 acres) involving the plan and facade design of 8 unit schemes, each unit with 4000-4800 sqft built-up. The development proposal is complete with integrated park and landscape design. From February 2014 to Present (1 year 11 months) MalaysiaArchitect @ Appraised and reviewed architectural, engineering and planning details for new development involving historic buildings (e.g. colonial period shophouses and warehouses, military barracks, etc). Under my purview are key city centre developments such as Capitol Development (S$750mil), South Beach Development (S$1.689 bil), and Alkaff Mosque (National Monument). This includes the design review for mosque expansion, installation of new acoustic and seating systems for a multi-purpose theatre, structural strengthening works for new lap pool along party wall developments, a change in land use, etc. Researched, prepared and presented conservation reports to parties within the agency (e.g. Chief Planner, CEO, Group Directors) as well as parties outside the agency (e.g. other governmental agencies/organizations, the Conservation Advisory Panel). Administered documentation and developed specific sales site guidelines for Havelock Warehouse (along Singapore River) under the Government Land Sales (GLS) program. Managed the measured survey and documentation for historic railway stations, Tanjong Pagar Railway Station and Bukit Timah Railway Station. The survey deliverables consisting of 2D and 3D interactive digital models. As the officer-in-charge for Historic Districts such as Clarke Quay, Boat Quay, Emerald Hill, my role in public engagement and place management led to ground up initiatives and improvements in the implementation of guidelines/planning policies. Active involvement in long term city planning (Master Plan 2014). Member of the review panel for the annual URA Architectural Heritage Awards. From December 2011 to February 2014 (2 years 3 months) SingaporeArchitectural Assistant @ SCH was contracted for 2 phases (Courtyard Building - £20mil, West of Slingsby - £30mil) of the St Martin’s Courtyard urban redevelopment project in Covent Garden, London. Design team for other projects such as Sanctum Soho Hotel (Grade II listed), contemporary museum in Jeddah, and renovations to private homes.
