Pazhanimuthu Annamalai’s Work Experiences:Managing Director at AURA BIOTECH Aurabipech Inc. is a leading global biotechnology company. The company was founded in 2008 and headquartered in Toronto, Canada. The company’s mission is to discover, develop, and commercialize innovative healthcare products. Aurabipech is focused on development of recombinant proteins, defibrinogen, and other products that could improve healthcare outcomes.In February 2010, I was appointed as the Managing Director at Aurabipech. My responsibilities included lead all illicit drug programs and lead all development, regulatory, and commercial operations. I also served as the Scientific Manager at Anthem Biosciences Private Limited, and manager of the Drug Discovery and Development team. I was responsible for the development of a number of products and programs, including recombinant proteins, defibrinogen, and other products.Prior to joining Aurabipech, I was a senior scientist at Advinus Therapeutics- A TATA Enterprise from August 2006 to June 2007. At Advinus, I was responsible for developing drug products and programs in the fields of cancer, infectious diseases, and other therapeutic disciplines. I also overseeing the worldwide marketing and sales of the company’s products.From August 2002 to August 2006, I was a scientific manager at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories. At Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, I was responsible for developing and overseeing the drug product development program for a number of products, most notably recombinant proteins, defibrinogen, and other products. I also played a primary role in developing and leading the international regulatory and commercial operations for the company.I have also held positions at a number of other companies, including Ramachandra Innovis and Advinus Therapeutics- A TATA Enterprise. My experience with these companies has given me the skills and knowledge needed to manage these industries.
