While living in France, Galleberg spent time completing an internship at the French Ministry of Justice working on a project on the fight against organized crime. In 1981, Galleberg returned to the United States and, after completing his law education at the University of Michigan, joined the law firm of Baker, Hostetler, Hale Pomerleau. Galleberg spent the next decade working in a number of major law firms, most notably Hale Pomerleau, where he was managing partner from 1997 to 2003.Galleberg is currently a partner at the law firm of Kasowitz, Benson, Torres, and Friedman, where he is managing the firm's Litigation Practice.Galleberg also has experience in a wide range of BOE products, havingLawManaged a complex Omnibus Crime Resolution case called United States v. Romero-Montena which endangered national security, and also has experience in a number of complex debtors problems, most notably the matter of Great Britain & Northern Ireland v. Paterson.Galleberg hasellison cloistered students, leading to his current FELLOWSHIP with the American Bar Association.Galleberg has written over 20 articles for national publications and several Supreme Court opinions, most notably in United States v. Romero-Montena, Great Britain & Northern Ireland v. Paterson, and United States v. Windsor.Overall, Galleberg has written over 20 articles covering a wide range of topics pertaining to the legal field. He is comfortable and experienced with complex litigation and debt cases, and is recognised as a expert in these fields by his peers and by the American Bar Association.
