💼 Past Experience

From May 2006 until March 2013, I was a Captain in the U.S. Army and worked in Vicenza Area, Italy as a Captain of Infantry in the 1st Battalion, 503 Infantry Regiment. I was also a Battalion Commander and Company Commander with the 1st Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team during my deployments in Afghanistan. I was awarded a Bronze Star and an Army Commendation Medal with Valor for my service in Afghanistan.

🎓 Education

Nick Black's education has landed him in some high-level executive positions, but his root cause remains his love of learning. Nick Black earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School in 2013, while also holding a Bachelor of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University in 2002.In his past roles, Black has excelled in areas such as entrepreneurship/entrepreneurial studies, marketing, and political science. Black has also been extensively involved in multiple civic engagement and leadership projects, such as creating a youth development program for the Third World, working with Nonprofit Leadership Network (PLN), and working with the City of Frederick, MD as deputy community relations Director. Black is consistently dedicated to learning and improving his skills so he can go even further in his career. He has also worked on various startup accelerator programs, including INCLUDE, and has been an Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies lecturer at the University of Central Florida (UCF). Overall, Black sees his educational journey as an essential step inhis overall development as an executive.
