💼 Past Experience

Senior Lead Architect at CenturyLinkMihir had been working as an Engineer at CenturyLink, a telecommunications company, since 2008. In that role, he was responsible for designing and developing electronic control units (ECUs) for stationary applications, as well as working onONE project that involved converting optical backhaul networks into IP/MPLS networks. He has also written code for the CenturyLink IPTV Architecture, using PIM, Draft-Rosen/NG-MVPN, QoS and subscriber management tools.Prior to joining CenturyLink, Mihir worked with Nokia in the network design and architecture support role for the company's North American network. There, he was responsible for working on projects such as designing and deployment of TDM-Ethernet conversions, as well as supporting the company in deployment of IP/MPLS Mobile backhaul solutions.Mihir has a degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He has also been a visiting professor at the Universities of British Columbia, Chicago Booth, ETH Zurich, grameen University, Hyderabad and the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.Hadapsarkar's current position at IIT Bombay is as a senior lecturer and head of the Department of Telecommunications and China, and a member of the faculties of the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and of the School of Computer Science and Applications. At IIT Bombay, he is responsible for developing new hardware and software technologies for the IIT Bombay campus and for teaching a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in these technologies.Hadapsarkar's professional experience in the past provides him with an early return on his investment in the education of students. Mihir Hadapsarkar has gowns in Network and Architectural Design from the University of Louisville and a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University. Having worked with Larson Technology for over 10 years, Mihir joins the Vega Controls team as a Senior Lead Architect. He is responsible for architectural and consulting support for large Tier 1 and Tier 2 Service providers in North America. He has worked with T-Mobile in the deployment of next-generation 5G infrastructure, performed regression testing on new IP products and released introduced in the network, and is also a Network Fellow with the IEEE.
