Michael Shinn's education has included a Bachelor of Arts from University of California, Davis, as well as a Marine Corps Reserve Scholarship to study at United States Marine Corps Reserves. Shinn has gone on to complete a Reserves Officer Training School, completing hiscommanding officer training and becoming an intelligent operator of a small engine vehicle.
