This entailed carrying out a complete audit of the physical and logical aspects of the IT environments being used by the outsourced vendors and verifying they were meeting the minimum standards required for IBM. From April 2007 to June 2011 (4 years 3 months) Universal Management Infrastructure Security Lead @ (Universal Management Infrastructure is a shared infrastructure for shared services, security tooling, build devices etc) Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for the management of 600 plus servers (Windows, AIX, Linux, VM, Middleware) • Responsible for full compliance of these servers to Corporate standards and the management of any deviation • Implemented encryption software • Task management of a team of 8 security technicians based in Milan • Verified that the infrastructure met the minimum security settings as per the most secure company standards through liaising with multiple customers. • Led audits both internal and customer based of the shared segment of the infrastructure.
