My role was to provide recruitment and HR support to the 35 portfolio companies spread across London, Berlin, Stockholm and New York City. This included: --Writing a comprehensive recruiting playbook for all portfolio companies --Sourcing over thirty offers for key roles across the portfolio --Creating and managing functional skill training and recruitment events --Advising the portfolio CEOs on their HR needs, ranging from creating performance review plans to reviewing compensation proposals From May 2013 to October 2014 (1 year 6 months) London, United KingdomRecruiter @ Our team set out to create a design renaissance in health, starting with The Eatery. We were a seed stage company when I joined, growing from 8 to 12 full-time employees within just a few months. We also hired several contractors to help us do R&D on unreleased products. We were soon acquired by Jawbone, and during the acquisition period I was fortunate to learn and work with the recruiting team at Greylock Partners, an investor in Massive Health. I mainly helped with screening university engineering candidates and introducing them to portfolio companies. From March 2012 to January 2013 (11 months) San Francisco Bay AreaTechnical Sourcer @ I began my recruiting career at Facebook as a coordinator for the TechOps & IT team. I managed an average of 500 interviews a quarter while supporting a team of anywhere from 5-9 recruiters and sourcers, tracked and analyzed performance data for our team, and coordinated all new hire social activities. After 1.5 years, I trained to be a technical sourcer, initially focusing on site reliability engineering before supporting all engineering teams within Facebook. From 2011-2012, I managed our internal technical lead generation program. In its first year, the program generated over three thousand leads, yielding thirty-five hires. Outside of my core role, I created Facebook's tour program, focused on bringing student groups on campus to learn more about our company culture and careers within technology. From September 2008 to March 2012 (3 years 7 months) Cambridge Queen's Head Assistant Manager @ Pub operations, event management and fancy brews.
