My clients included Applebee's, Bank of America, Dell; Gateway, Price Chopper, Hen House, Aldi, and numerous other fortune 100 and 500 corporations. There is very little in the field of computer hardware or networking that I didn't do while performing my duties. Soldering, calibrating potentiometers for MICR check processors, tracing shorts and on-the-spot rebuilds were a day to day occurrence. Routers, cable testing, switching and limited server work was not daily, but often. More specifically, I dealt with NCR point of sale systems and ATM machines, IBM cash registers, Indiana cash drawers and Lexmark printers. I was and still am a certified Dell and Gateway technician. A+ certification was mandatory as a qualification for hiring. I was entrusted with handling large sums of cash money with no supervision while repairing ATM machines, and also entrusted with keys and security clearance to enter the banks at night.
