Hailing from Adelaide but residing in Melbourne, Matt developed a passion for video and photography through skateboarding around Australia and the world. After completing a Bachelor of media Studies (Film & Television) at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Matt's graduating film Derby Wives was played out at the Melbourne Underground film Festival. Since completing his degree Matt has been apart of the Legitimate Films team where he has continued to pursue his love of filmmaking. While working at Legitimate Films Matt has worked in production as an editor and camera operator in several successful documentary projects and has been DOP in a number of commercial and corporate film productions. Matt also works as a Technical Assistant at La Trobe University where he assists Media, Screen and Sound lecturers in demonstrating to students the use of camera equipment, editing suites and software and the use of the La Trobe television studio.Casual Media Screen + Sound Tutor @ Tutoring for Shooting Short productions, a 2nd year subject that is part or the Media, Screen + Sound program at La Trobe University.
