Mark Michelman has over 20 years of experience in engineering and product development, most of which has been spent working in the technology and life sciences industries. Michelman has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master's degree in Earth, Atmospheric, and Climate Sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.Michelman started his career in product development at Airfox in Cambridge, MA. There he worked on developing and managing data products for the company. He then moved to HubSpot in Cambridge, MA, where he was responsible for product development and product management. Michelman also worked at the ACEA, at the US Army Research Lab, and at a medical device startup.After working at HubSpot for 10 months, Michelman decided to move to Brazil and work at Artesa Winery. Here he analyzed samples of juice and wine to optimize production process and quality control. Michelman also engagements with graduate students in nanotechnology research to improve novel nanoporous materials.Michelman has also held a position as a Research Intern at Mars and Co. in Greenwich, CT. Here he researched and modeled competitive economics for a client in the beverage industry. Michelman is currently a Solutions Lab Technician at Nantero and has also conducted groundbreaking research in novel microparticle production technique (electrohydrodynamic jetting).
