From her early days working as an account executive at Arthur Andersen LLP, Marjorie Dickman realized that she had a passion for public policy. She later gained a law degree from Lehigh University and moved to the corporate world, where she focused on public policy and antitrust issues.In 2002, Marjorie started her own practice, GSD & Associates, where she focused on the intersection of technology, government and the larger business world. After a year as a management consultant, Marjorie was promoted to Regional Deputy General Counsel for the US Department of Homeland Security. There, she developed a number of prosecutions and litigation against significant anti-terrorism cases. In 2006, she joined the board of directors of TheStreet, a technology news and investment blog, as a Senior Vice President.At BlackBerry, Marjorie has been responsible for all moves within the company into the cloud and the development of BlackBerry Messenger. She has also been involved in the launch of the low budget BlackBerry OS phone, the BlackBerry KEYone, and the BlackBerry Z10. In her previous roles, Marjorie has been a strong advocate for gender and Antitrust reform, working on behalf of clients across the broad technology sector.One of Marjorie's favorite features of her work is building relationships with various stakeholders. She loves working with governments, private industry and the wider public, and she is constantly learning and exploring new ways to connect with people andchange the course of public policy.
