Marion Treece

Marion Treece serves as the Director of Operations at the Plant Based Nutrition Support Group, where she plays a pivotal role in advancing educational initiatives centered around lifestyle medicine and plant-based nutrition. In her current capacity, Marion manages a diverse array of programs, including Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses and events tailored for both the general public and healthcare professionals. Her expertise in plant-based nutrition is complemented by her strong background in administration and financial operations, making her an invaluable asset to the organization.

One of Marion's key responsibilities is overseeing the Lifestyle as Medicine series and the Lifestyle Medicine Grand Rounds, where she collaborates closely with the Founder/President and other directors to ensure that programming aligns with the latest research and best practices in the field. Her adeptness in financial reporting and bookkeeping allows her to maintain the organization’s fiscal health while also facilitating seamless daily operations. Marion's problem-solving skills enable her to address challenges both individually and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment that enhances productivity and innovation.

In addition to her operational duties, Marion is a co-developer and content contributor for the "Perfectly Plant-Based for Optimal Health" course, which aims to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to adopt a healthier lifestyle through plant-based nutrition. Her proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, enhances her ability to create engaging presentations and manage educational content effectively. Marion’s interpersonal communication skills, including her proficiency in American Sign Language, further enable her to connect with diverse audiences, ensuring that the message of plant-based nutrition reaches as many people as possible.
