Marcel Caron is a dedicated Physical Scientist at SAIC, where he plays a pivotal role in advancing meteorological forecasting capabilities. With a strong focus on enhancing accessibility to sophisticated forecast model analysis tools, Marcel is committed to bridging the gap between professional meteorologists and hobbyists alike. His current responsibilities include the development and maintenance of an operational model verification system for the Environmental Modeling Center (EMC), which is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of weather predictions.

In addition to his work on model verification, Marcel is actively engaged in developing retrospective evaluations of the Rapid Refresh Forecast System (RRFS), a key initiative ahead of its planned implementation.
