ManuelPais is a designer and creator of software applications, with more than twenty years of experience in the area. He had the opportunity to work on a number of high-return projects. Manuel Pais is a co-founder of the company DevOps Lisbon, which he founded in 2004. From there, he started working on events, training topics, and also founded the Portuguese Chapter of the International Federation of Developers’ Associations (F.I.D.A.), which is the predecessor of the International Association of Software Engineers (I.A.S.).Since 2000, Manuel Pais has been working as an independent consultant. He has developed a number of software design patterns, and has taught them at different organizations. Most recently, Manuel Pais has been working as an editor for the online magazine DevOps at InfoQ, where he has lead the work on the new book "DevOps finaltrees: Patterns, Practices, and Heroes".Manuel Pais has a degree in computer science from the University of Lisbon.
