Her background shows that she was primarily suited for secondary school dropouts, where she garnered a B.A. in Communication from McDaniel College in 1999. Although she was most successful in completing her studies at a community college, it was through her experience with community colleges that she learned how to be an effective leader and manager.In 2017, Lorene moved from her position as a human resources development professional at McDaniel College to a new position at Central Kentucky University as aResearch Associate. She is a part of the research team that helps to identify the needs of Kentucky students in order to impact the success of their universities.
