I work with accountancy and bookkeeping practices to help them get the most out of modern technology and working practices - for themselves and their clients.

Senior Account Manager @ During my time with Xero I've worked with hundreds of accounting firms - from startups to Top 10 Practices. I've talked with practice leaders in glossy boardrooms, at dining room tables and everything in between on how to really get the most out of using a cloud platform to improve their clients' experience of accounting and help the firm achieve its goals. From April 2012 to Present (3 years 9 months) Finance and Marketing manager @ I've always been passionate about small business so started my career with Pattinsons, a small accountancy practice. During my time at the firm I got involved with most aspects of the practice, including accounts production, overseeing the payroll and bookkeeping department, internal management reporting and sales and marketing. I also helped to initially implement Xero into the working practices of the firms, as well as assist clients in getting started. From October 2001 to March 2012 (10 years 6 months) Operations Assistant/Marketing Assistant @ I personally contact all attendees to confirm their attendance and offer assistance where required (directions and meeting structure for example). I greet and collect meeting fees from all attendees. Along with the other team members, I publicise the event within the 4Networking community and actively search for first time visitors, through cold calling and other networking activities. Other responsibilities include liaising with the meeting venue to confirm numbers and settle their costs. From August 2011 to February 2012 (7 months)
