Cloud & DevOps Engineer @ We are Cloudar, a team of cloud architects, offering rock solid cloud solutions for any type of business. We design, build and operate high available and scalable environments based on Amazon Web Services. From July 2015 to Present (5 months) Junior Systems Engineer @ Kiala provides services for the delivery and return of packages in delivery points as an alternative to home delivery. Its infrastructure is fully managed in-house - from backend services to parcel scanners and customer-facing applications. Our infrastructure currently serves customers globally; the US, Canada, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain. As a Systems Engineer my principal roles within Kiala are; • Integrate the Kiala environment within UPS's global infrastructure • Facilitate active development of upcoming UPS/Kiala projects • Maintain and sanitize the current production environment • 3rd line support, 24/7 on-call From September 2014 to June 2015 (10 months) Operations Engineer @ As an Operations Engineer I expanded and maintained Google's EMEA network - from Core to Edge. The team is responsible for keeping Google's infrastructure up and running. Deploying and repairing the Google-designed equipment all over EMEA to maintain the service stability and performance that users have come to expect. • Deployment and maintenance of cutting-edge hardware and networking equipment • Leading small deployment teams, coordination of deployment process with internal stakeholders • Expanding and maintaining Google's edge caching infrastructure (CDN) at Google PoPs throughout EMEA • Data Center core maintenance duties; repairs, upgrades and deployment of servers and network equipment From September 2012 to September 2014 (2 years 1 month) Founder @ Box-IT was the home of my freelance activities. • Provided services, solutions and advice to SMBs and contractors regarding their ICT infrastructure • Successfully grew, improved and sanitized existing infrastructures (mainly Debian/RHEL) • Consistently achieved high customer satisfaction From April 2011 to June 2012 (1 year 3 months)
