Specialist base engine, product development @ Supplier Process Manager aluminium castings, in this role I’ve been program managing the aluminium castings on all the engine programmes within DAF since Epa10 development. This starts with a timely creation of a BOM and workload overview. Next the engineering departments designs (3D and 2D drawings) are analysed from a quality and manufacturing perspective.
Translating the important characteristics into a robust process at the supplier while monitoring progress and milestones to assure on time introduction is also key in successfully managing this group of parts.
