💼 Past Experience

My experience with corporate communications, in terms of strategy, tactical execution, and public relations, spans over 6 years. I have experience working in both the technology and consumer-facing divisions within organizations, and have played a significant role in establishing and leading the company’s corporate communications strategy. I am also extremely knowledgeable in social media and the use of digital marketing techniques, having been responsible for both product and executive communications for various clients. In my previous roles, I have also been responsible for managing all things financial and product communication for company entities such as GoPro, Intersperse, and SurveyMonkey.

🎓 Education

Lara Sasken Lindenbaum's education has taken her from musicology and ethnomusicology to an MBA and now a Ph.D. in musicology and ethnomusicology. Born and raised in Boston, MA, Lara Sasken Lindenbaum started studying musicology and ethnomusicology at the University of Massachusetts Boston. She eventually completed her undergraduate studies in musicology and earned her B.A. in Philosophy & Public Policy in 2007. After her undergraduate studies, Lara turned her attention to businessschool and completed her MBA in 2009. During her MBA coursework, Lara focused on the areas of management and marketing. In her final semester, she also completed her undergraduate dissertation, which focused on the music of contemporary Ethiopian artists. Since her undergraduate studies, Lara has worked as a doxographer for theScore, a music notation application. She also worked as a music scholar for the Berklee Music Instituteha as an assistant professor for musicology and musicology research at the Mullen School of Music at Emerson College.
