Kounal Gupta holds an engineers' degree from Delhi College of Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. After completing her education, she worked as a purchasing engineer at Infosys for two years followed by a three-year stint as a business analyst at Tata Consultancy Services. Gupta then moved to Bangalore, India in 2006 to start her own company, Kounal Gupta Consultancy Limited. She has since portal launched her own business in India which currently employs 5 people and is growing rapidly. Gupta is currently President and CEO of her business. Gupta is working towards her certification in supply chain management from the Indian School of Business, and has also been involved inapore starting a business school in Bangalore which she is aiming to open by the end of the year.
