From 2004 to 2006 (2 years) Sr Vice President, U.S. Operations @ FedEx Led FedEx's largest division comprised of 62,000 employees, 3,500 management staff and 1,500 facilities in all 50 states in the U.S. Responsible for a $4 billion dollar expense budget and a $400 million dollar capital budget. Managed all pick up and delivery operations as well as support groups responsible for strategic planning, engineering, technology services and human resources. From 1999 to 2004 (5 years) Sr Vice President, Air-Ground and Freight Services @ FedEx Managed FedEx's second largest division comprised of 21,000 employees, 105 facilities in all 50 U.S. states. Responsible for the sales, marketing, operations and strategic direction for all FedEx Express freight, airport and trucking operations. From 1997 to 1999 (2 years) President, Chief Operating Officer @ Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Managed all company owned and franchised locations worldwide for Krispy Kreme. Was responsible for 450M of revenue in 21 countries. Direct line responsibility for International and U.S. Operations, Franchising, Real Estate, Supply Chain and R&D. Led the strategic development and execution of an innovative concept to significantly reduce supply chain costs by using cutting edge robotic case pick technology to enable multiple manufucturers to deliver direct to retail stores within 24 hours of order submission. Oversaw the operation of the largest automated grocery distrubtion center in the world in addition to other regional facilities.
