Within the community, I have conducted numerous Youth development camps, conferences, mentoring and coaching programs for kids and youths of all ages to create role models that positively impact society.Senior Financial Analyst @ From July 2015 to Present (5 months) Senior Financial Analyst @ - BNZ wide Journal reduction project lead. Successfully reduced manual Journals by 13% across BNZ. Nominated and received a Kaizen Process Improvement award for this project - Initiated a Governance Structure related to Reconciliations and Control. Ensured compliance is being adhered in all the key controls. Significantly increased the quality and accuracy of various control activities. Regular reconciliations deep dive to find avenues to streamline various Reconciliations and controls - One of the three that initiated the Month end Process Council Governance Structure across Finance. The Month end council is a platform to discuss on various month end metrics, Finance wide compliance, system performance and process improvement opportunities related to the management of Month end - Created a robust decision making framework on separating between High risk v Low risk reconciliations. This framework greatly assisted Financial Controller and Internal Controls on their monthly and quarterly reviews and ensured high risk accounts were timely reviewed - Month end management of P&L and Balance sheet closure. Constant liaising with Management accountant to ensure companywide SOX compliance trainings are rolled out -Fixed Asset process owner. Monthly reconciliation of the Fixed assets sub ledger, ensuring any transfers, disposals or additions of fixed asset is coordinated with the various stakeholders across the company -Regular review of the CAPEX budget. This includes monthly reconciliation of the CAPEX, managing with various key leaders across the company to forecast CAPEX during the business plan phase and constant tracking of the CAPEX ytd spend against the budget -Working with various regional leaders to be the first point of contact for bottom up build of the CAPEX budget and tracking of the CAPEX spend during the year. Successfully implemented a CAPEX workflow tool which simplified the approval process -Johnson and Johnson Pacific lead for the In House Banking initiative run by regional treasury. This involves forecasting interest expense and revenue during business plan and relevant updates, monitoring of the cash pool balance between the holding company and its affiliates and providing fortnightly cash flow forecasts -Management of the Finance intern From March 2013 to January 2014 (11 months) Sydney Area, AustraliaAssistant Management Accountant @ - Project lead for the Marketing Lean team which monitored SOX compliance for the Marketing team. Created various process improvement training sessions which was shared with various key leaders across the company. - Successfully implemented and rolled out a Streamlined Brand Marketing Reconciliation approach to the J&J Marketing team which simplified the Reconciliation process - Successful implementation of a Brand Marketing Reconciliation Summary to review over and underspend with the Commercial Finance Team and key Marketing contacts - Company wide reporting of Financial Statements (BRAVO) for key stakeholders at the regional and global head office. Created a thorough BRAVO checklist to ensure SOX compliance and best practice measures was implemented. - Worked with various stakeholders globally to create a process of reducing the unfavourable impact to the P&L caused due to exchange rate variances.
