Julie Bsn serves as the Director of Inpatient Cardiac Services at Sentara Healthcare, where she oversees a comprehensive and multifaceted department comprising 162 beds across various units, including 30 ICU beds, 114 Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) beds, and 18 Medical-Surgical (MS) beds. With a robust leadership team of twelve direct reports and a total of 410 full-time equivalents (FTEs), Julie is instrumental in driving exceptional nursing care across a spectrum of specialties, including advanced cardiac surgery, mechanical circulatory support, and hematology-oncology services. Her expertise in managing high-acuity environments, such as the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) and the Advanced Heart Failure Unit (AHFU), positions her as a pivotal figure in enhancing patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
