Johan Booij is a Dutch economist who is currently a PhD candidate at the University of Amsterdam. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Rotterdam (HES) from January 2001 to January 2003. He then completed his graduate studies at the Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Etten-Leur (KSE) from January 1990 to January 1996.Booj has been working as an economist for the past five years. He has worked in the Dutch economy for both private and public companies. He has a strong focus on Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics. In his most recent work, Booj has been focusing on the Dutch economy’s assessment procedures for stimulus programs.
