Joanne then began working as a therapist in a psychiatric hospital. After 7 years of therapy, Joanne left the mental health workforce and decided to enter the business world. Joanne was unsuccessful in finding a job before starting her own business. She then applied to touch base with The Amherst Group.At The Amherst Group, Joanne was a Lead Recruiter. She was responsible for managing the hiring process and feroking talent from inside and outside of the company. Joanne also had a role in developing Talent Policies and procedure, as well as developing a recruitment and hiring Plan.
