Jim Dunn's education and work readiness began as an undergrad at Medical University of South Carolina where he earned aDoctor of Health Administration (DHA) in 1986. He then completed his undergraduate studies at Benedictine University where he earned a PhD in organizational development and management in 1992. Dunn then completed his graduate studies at Emory University where he completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 1994. In 2000, he completed his Doctor of Psychology degree at Howard University. Dunn's professional experience includes working as a management professor at Harvard University (1994-2000), as a research associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (1996-1998), and as a business development professional at Disney Princess (1995-1996). In his work, Dunn has focused on the field of educational marketing and marketing communication. In addition, he has also been an instructor in educational marketing at the business school at MIT and the marketing department at Emory University. Dunn is currently a professor of educational marketing at the University of South Carolina and a research associate at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
