As a Recruiter at Google, Jennifer has had the opportunity to find and hire the best and brightest individuals for her company. She has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different companies and personalities, which has taught her a great deal about how people interact and how to discriminate against potential employees.Jennifer was born and raised in the town of Wellesley, MA. She has always been passionate about her work and has always wanted to help others. After studying business at Brown University, she traveled to Japan and South Korea and learn about the Curtis construction industry. She then moved back to MA and worked as a math teacher before switching to a procurement role at Google. In her procurement role at Google, Jennifer has had the opportunity to work with a variety of different Procurement Programs. She has been able to learn a great deal about the different parts of the procurement process and the different companies that she interacts with while working with the Google team.Jennifer has been with Google for four years and is currently a Recruiter at their company Google Recruiter. She has had a great experience working with potential employees and has been able to discrimination against potential employees in a number of ways. She is also very excited about her upcoming role as an Assistant Manager for Google Recruiter.

🎓 Education

Jennifer Cahalen has a B.A. from Stanford University in 2000. She then transferred to the University ofCalifornia, Berkeley, where she attained her M.A. in 2004. Cahalen worked as a research assistant for Louis Meeropol at the Stanford University Graduate School of Journalism and received a fellowship to do the same at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. In 2007, she was a finalist for the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for Reporting.

She has found that the most important skill for a recruiter is the ability to listen and take feedback. From her experiences, she has learned that it is important to be open to new ideas and to be able to adjust your methods of communication when necessary.
