Jeff Altman has a Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from City University of New York City College. Altman has worked as a Social Worker in the Bronx, New York from 1994 until 1998, when he obtained his Master's degree in Social Work from Fordham University. From 1998 until 2006, he was a Social Worker in Stamford, Connecticut. Altman then worked as a Political Science instructor at City University of New York City College until he obtained his Doctorate in Political Science from City University of New York City College in January of 2007.In his work as a Political Science instructor, Altman has used his education to provide scholarships to students who are struggling to pay for college. Altman alsopresents a wide variety of political studies coursework to students in local high schools and college campuses.
