For the last 6+ years, I have been working with tons of lines of code in C# .NET. My expertise includes Javascript, JQuery, MVC and anything comes with Web Programming in Microsoft .NET. I have experience in Microsoft WPF applications and Java/Android applications as well.
For two years at Vistaprint, I had a great opportunity to take a full responsibility of a tool being used by entire designers within the company. The tool was called Content Project Viewer. CPV was a WPF-based application for version-controlling Vistaprint's internal design contents. I was also responsible for a data analysis tool called VisualGrepDoc. VisualGrepDoc was a WPF application for gathering a large number of back-end XML data of the Vistaprint products from Database, parsing them by Map-Reduce technique, and searching the result by translating simple English query to XPath for the non-developer users.
In February 2011, I returned to my home country, South Korea, to fulfill the two years of mandatory military duty. As an engineer, I was fortunate enough to substitute the duty with 3-year-long public service at a company that the government allowed. During my service at Onson Soft, due to the small size of the company, I had an opportunity to design and build the entire platform of a single project, called World Baseball Manager. WBM was a simulation-based Baseball game on Facebook. My main responsibility was to work with C# ASP .NET to build and implement the web server and the baseball simulator of the game. Our team was able to launch the game in January 2013 and I got promoted to a Senior Software Engineer.
After completing my service at Onson Soft, I came back to the United States under H1B status in May 2014 to work as a Full Stack Web Engineer at ROBLOX located in San Mateo, CA. I have been working on various areas of ROBLOX platform including billing flow pipeline, cumulative data processor, automated component tests and the Web API support for ROBLOX mobile applications.
