Jani Tuomi has a BS in mathematics from the University of Waterloo. She started working at Google in 2002 as a data scientist. She then went on to be a senior technical advisor in their US data engineering office from 2007 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, she was a senior scientist at Google Brain.Since joining Google Brain, Jani Tuomi has been working on creating the largest machine learning dataset in the world, comprehension fastest in the world for natural language processing, and solving problems on the most complex problems in NLP.Previously, Jani Tuomi was also a software engineer at Facebook.
