My love of learning has lead me to exciting opportunities, including internships abroad and high-responsibility roles in key client projects. I have consistently delivered above expectations and before hard deadlines at work and in school. In the future, I hope to always find new ways to grow and difficult problems to challenge me.
Sidekick @ Water administration, pixel wrangling, font drawing and refactoring. From May 2015 to Present (8 months) Remote Intern @ Contributed to 9 open source Node.js packages with a remote team. Designed Node.js and Java API's for projects like the Seneca micro-service toolkit, with about 20 downloads per day, and Zamano SMS service, with about 3 downloads per day. Wrote documentation on 6 seneca plugins just from reading source. From July 2014 to Present (1 year 6 months) Developer @ Collaborated as a core decision-making member of the web development team. Organized project architecture to achieve record completion of 94 on-time user stories in one sprint. Incorporated Grunt task management into Apache Cordova hybrid application to bring app load time down from 5 seconds to 1.5 seconds. From September 2014 to May 2015 (9 months) Phoenix, Arizona AreaAssociate Developer @ Delivered responsive front-end code and helped train new employees in development and quality assurance. Organized taxonomy of thousands of Honeywell Aerospace products for the sitecore build of aerospace.honeywell.com. Had sole responsibility for creating templates for Best Western Premier website, and populated 300 pages with content. From July 2013 to September 2014 (1 year 3 months) Software Development Intern @ Independently designed and built a mobile application for users to locate nearby WiFi hot spots in 8 weeks. Created a php RESTful API for the 700 European locations. Created features to make the user experience more intuitive and useful, including an interactive map, location saving for offline use, and geolocation-specific directions. Increased performance of AngularJS app by 40% by optimizing data-binding. Leveraged a number of open source solutions including as Android, Apache Cordova, and AngularJS. From June 2014 to July 2014 (2 months) Client Services Intern @ Wrote and performed functional test cases for more than 20 web development projects across multiple browsers and devices. Logged specific bugs with detailed descriptions and replication steps. Created monthly performance analytic reports for Facebook and Twitter campaigns for clients like Massage Envy and Time Warner Cable. Provided accurate estimates for future sales data to give executives a clearer picture of revenue cycles. From September 2012 to July 2013 (11 months) Research Assistant @ Conducted surveys of 19 designated collection sites located approximately 35 miles of Lake Michigan coastline as an independent contractor to the USGS. Provided daily water samples of 5 beaches for the lab to run experiments, contributing to 3 research studies of pollution in the Great Lakes, including a study on the effects of reversing the Chicago River.
