I'm a full stack engineer with a passion for technologies, and my current love is node JS. After my time pursuing chemical engineering at community college, I discovered programming, and changed direction. I took that as far as I could at school with C++, Java, and Linux courses. After a lot of self-directed learning, I went for the deeper immersion of the Hack Reactor program. My favorite project there was an web-accessible autonomous drone, running on Tessel, a JavaScript powered micro-controller. In spite of a comical series of hardware failures, we got the thing up in the air. I'm fascinated by the Internet of Things concept, and spend a lot of free time with Arduino, as well. As much as I enjoy web programming, I find working with my hands extremely satisfying. I once rebuilt a dead car from the ground up, and drove it around for three years.

Work conducted utilizing an IBM database. Coffee Kiosk (Starbucks Coffee outlet): Responsible for opening, running and closing coffee kiosk. Kiosk duties include cash register accounting (cash & credit cards), inventory control, product sales and creation as a barista. Direct customer service position. Helped develop a new protocol resulting in sub micron level accuracy. Contracted by the U.S. Geological Survey. From May 2013 to September 2013 (5 months) Lighting Designer / Assistant Lighting Designer / Electrician @ Responsible for lighting design, installation, maintenance and removal of instruments in theaters in Santa Cruz (primarily Louden Nelson) for local non-profit theatre company. Requires knowledge of electrical line capacity, work on a 30’ ladder, attention to detail, creativity, flexibility and the ability to quickly solve problems.
