From July 2013 to April 2014 (10 months) Research Assistant @ The purpose of the research project is to develop accurate tag-free indoor patient tracking system using RSSI signals. Responsible for improving tracking accuracy of existing system, using Machine Learning techniques and salient feature extraction through signal processing. Developed GUI for data processing and testing on Matlab. Defined data acquisition protocols and data processing pipeline. From January 2013 to December 2013 (1 year) Portland, Oregon AreaResearch Assistant @ Developed high precision 3D scanning system to acquire profilometric information of infant patients with cleft lip and cleft palate. Developed a multi camera 3D imaging system using structured light illumination. Wrote the system software for device interfacing, image acquisition, image processing, 3D rendering and model analysis. The software was written in C++ and Objective-C language for Mac OSX using Cocoa, OpenGL, libdc1394 and openCV libraries.
