Director @ Welcome to The Good Loaf, Northampton’s first truly artisan bakery. We are passionate about bringing beautiful and nutritious bread to local people and businesses. Our breads are entirely hand-crafted, baked daily at sunrise and we source our flours from local mills. We make bread slowly, with care and dedication to every loaf, just as it has been made for hundreds of years.
But good bread is only half the story. As a social business we aim to provide real employment opportunities to vulnerable local women so that we can break the cycle of poverty, unemployment and offending. By working through our structured work placements female offenders will gain practical skills and experience in a real work environment. Our team is made up of paid staff, volunteers and women on work placements and we all work together, united in our passion to produce the finest bread and baked products in Northamptonshire and committed to improving the lives of those who have not had an easy time. For us, Good Bread Doing Good is more than a strapline.
Please contact me if you are interested in commercial supply of artisan breads in the Northamptonshire area - small and large orders can be catered for. We also have the ability to do catering as well as having a cafe on site.
