Heather LoRe is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner and the visionary founder of the Hope and Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation, a vital resource for individuals facing the challenges of Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. Based in Massachusetts, Heather's personal journey with breast cancer began in 2004 when she underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation for Stage IIB Breast Cancer. Her resilience was tested again in 2008 when she received a diagnosis of Metastatic Breast Cancer, a terminal form of the disease. This life-altering experience fueled her passion to create a supportive community for others navigating similar paths.

At the Hope and Friendship Foundation, Heather leads a wonderful, comfortable, and confidential support group that meets bi-weekly in North Andover.
