Postdoctoral Researcher @ From April 2015 to Present (9 months) Postdoctoral Researcher @ I was doing research on the application of eye gaze in several scenarios along with the saliency. I also gathered an eye-gaze database. From January 2015 to March 2015 (3 months) Researcher @ As a researcher, I have been working mainly on developing algorithms related to machine vision and computer vision. My main research topic has been on visual attention, saliency modeling, saliency detection and segmentation which has can be applied in a wide range of applications such as robotics, embedded vision algorithms, object recognition, image/video compression, object tracking, medial imaging, human-comuter interaction and even graphics and art. I have developed simple, yet efficient, model free background subtraction techniques, efficient tracking algorithms, and applied eye movement modality for the purpose of recognition of emotional message a scene conveys.
