About Gopal Raghavan
💼 Past Experience
Gopal Raghavan started out his technical career as a Junior Engineer at Conexantfabrics Pvt. Ltd. from 1984 to1990. He then moved on to join Intel Corporation as aSenior Engineer from July 1984 to July 1994. Thereafter, he participated in the company's foray into the Developer tools market. After several years at Intel, Gopal rejoined Conexant in 2000 as a senior Engineer. He did his most important work in Conexant's breed of Advanced Silicon photoconversions (ASPCs) Laboratory, where he led and supervised a number of international team members. In September 1994, Gopal left Intel to start his own company, Eta Compute. In his three years as CEO and Co-founder of Eta Compute, Gopal helped the company expand into six new geographical areas, and become the first company in India to achieve GAAP profitability. In August 2019, Gopal was appointed as the new CEO of Tata Consultancy Services Limited.Gopal Raghavan has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Sri Venkatesh Shanmuga Sanskrit University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from TKM Engineering College, Mangalore.
