She attended the Massachusetts College of Art from 1975-1978 where she was a senior artist. After studying at Northeastern University from 1987-1988, Ginger is a fourth-generation artist.Hornaday is known for her abstract and naive art. Her pieces are inspired by nature and often depict Abstract landscapes. This type of art often lacks certain details or realistic elements, making it difficult to identify the artist's identity. buyers often forget they are buying an abstract painting.In her art, Hornaday often uses pencil sketches as her medium. pencil sketches often have a Bare minimum of detail and are often signed. This allows buyers to know who the artist is and that they were not influenced by any other artists.Hornaday's abstract landscape pieces are often borrowed from nature. In many cases, she uses captured photos of iconic landmarks or animals to referencing these landmarks in her paintings.Her pieces are often beautiful and can be personal favorites.
