💼 Past Experience

Born in a small town in India, Gaurav Kharkwal has been working in technology and industry since the age of 10. He first got interested in technology when he started exploring computers and software development. From there, he moved onto working on mobile applications and then onto data systems. Gaurav went on to complete his undergraduate education at International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad in 2007, where he obtained a degree in computer science. After completing his undergraduate education, Gaurav worked as a research assistant at International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) from 2007 to 2009. From there, he moved onto working as a software development engineer at Microsoft - India Development Center from June 2008 to August 2008. From there, he started his own company and worked on developing a data platform for google assistant. He then moved on to working as a tech lead on local search and then as a research assistant at Rutgers University from September 2009 to July 2014. From September 2009 to September 2013, he worked as a graduate teaching assistant at Rutgers University from September 2009 to September 2013.
