Gary Richards brings over 30 years of invaluable experience in small business ownership and management to his role as an adjunct marketing instructor at SUNY Oswego. His extensive background in the business sector, coupled with his former Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and various insurance and securities licenses, equips him with a unique perspective on the intersection of marketing, finance, and strategic business development. At SUNY Oswego, Gary teaches foundational courses in marketing, sales, and sales management, where he emphasizes the importance of practical application and real-world scenarios.

His teaching philosophy centers around equipping students with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of today’s dynamic market landscape.
