Gab Barbaro – BEngineering (1st), LLB, MBA. Gab is responsible for British Gas Business (BGB), the division serving almost half a million businesses across 900,000 locations with energy supplies and energy services. BGB helps customers manage their energy, providing gas and electricity as well as a full range of energy efficiency services, from new boilers to large-scale installations such as solar panels and ground source heat pumps. It's also the leader in smart meters, with over 400,000 installed. BGB's 5,000 employees are based mainly in Leicester and Oxford, and include a 1,000-strong team of engineers. Gab joined British Gas' parent group, Centrica plc, in 2009 as Head of Group Strategy. In 2012 he was appointed Managing Director of Business Services. Previously, Gab spent 10 years working in the energy industry in the UK and globally, as a strategy expert for Boston Consulting Group and Accenture.
