I'm part of the Core service Team as Web Developer and reporting to Head of Core Technology.
Right now I'm working with Laravel 5, AngularJS, NodeJS, Redis and SocketIO for an internal project. I have been refactoring using the best practices and coding standards. Right now I'm responsible for all the development, that includes the RESTful API using Laravel 5, the single page application using AngularJS and the socket server using NodeJS, SocketIO and Redis. Nevertheless all the decisions are discussed in team so everyone can give his opinion.
From time to times, I also do some development on the Core Services for Flubit.com, using such technologies as Laravel, PHPUnit, Beanstalk and MySQL just to name a few.
We use Git Flow and all of our pull requests must be reviewed, sometimes I'm reviewing my colleagues pull requests, but they are quite good so I don't need to correct them, but an extra pair of eyes is always good. From October 2015 to Present (3 months) London, United KingdomWeb Developer - Outsourcing @ ZAP is a digital satellite television provider with 1 million clients, where I worked in a team of twenty five developers and three testers. Since I was an outsourcer, initially I was responsible for small projects so I was able to understand all the processes and projects. After that I was one of the developers responsible for the GIS module, as a full Stack Developer. This module was for the FTTH(Fiber to the home) technicians to insert, edit and query all the info relative to the fiber infrastructures. Also, using SOAP web services all this info was available to the ERP. The technology I was working with was a homemade framework, Smarty template engine, Leaflet.JS for the maps, Bootstrap, jQuery, DataTables and MySQL. From December 2014 to June 2015 (7 months) Lisbon Area, PortugalWeb Developer Consultant @ I was a Web developer consultant at Bold International. During this time I worked for Diamond by BOLD and Zap TV. From April 2014 to June 2015 (1 year 3 months) Lisbon Area, PortugalDev Team @ SINFO is an annual non profit event organised exclusively by college students in the fields of Information Technology and Computer Science. I'm currently part of the development team working on our hybrid mobile application From October 2014 to February 2015 (5 months) Lisbon Area, PortugalWeb Developer @ Diamond is a digital agency and we worked as a small team, one designer, three back end and two front end developers, and one manager. I was one of the back end developers, except on the last 4 months when I was responsible for developing Cordova Hybrid Apps.
As a PHP developer I worked with LAMP Stack and with several technologies such as Laravel 4, Codeigniter and MySQL.
Additionally I developed countless projects like RESTful APIs for mobile apps, Landing Pages, Facebook APPs, Web Applications and Web pages. In these projects I was responsible for everything on the back end, including designing the databases and assembling the front end with the back end. Occasionally I was also in charge of communicating with clients.
As a Cordova App developer I was responsible for the whole process and I worked with several front-end tools, just to name a few, Grunt, AngularJS, Yeoman, Sass, Ionic Framework, Boostrap 3 From April 2014 to December 2014 (9 months) PortugalWeb Developer @ Diferencia is digital agency and we worked as small team, one designer, one marketeer, two managers and one developer. I was a full Stack Developer and developed countless web apps, specially facebook Apps (page tabs, canvas and web mobile). Since I was the only developer, for each project I was responsible for the database, Back-End. Front-End which included adapting PSD's files to HTML and CSS, also everything was planned, designed and implemented by me. In terms of technologies I used Codeigniter, Bootstrap 2, jQuery, PHP Facebook SDK and KinecticJS just to name a few. From May 2013 to April 2014 (1 year) Lisbon Area, PortugalWeb Developer @ I was a full Stack Developer and developed countless web apps, specially facebook Apps (page tabs, canvas and web mobile). And since the team was small, projects were one person only, so for each project I was responsible for the database, Back-End and Front-End which included adapting PSD's files to HTML and CSS. Also considering the size of the team each developer was responsible for his decisions. In terms of technologies I used Codeigniter, Bootstrap 2, jQuery, PHP Facebook SDK and much more. From July 2012 to May 2013 (11 months) Lisbon Area, PortugalSystem Administrator @ Managed all peripheral devices, servers and computers from the store, assembled a wiring closet, built Windows 7 images with some of the default software used by the company leading to a process optimization when it comes to formatting and reinstalling windows on machines.
